Meat and Two Veg ---------------- 1 cup Green Lentils \ 1 cup TVP chunks |==== The "meat" 1/2 cup Brown Lentils / 1 Onion 3 cloves Garlic 1 large Courgette/Zuchinni ---- And two 3 or 4 Carrots ---- veg! 2 teaspoons Vecon/Vegetable Stock 1 teaspoon Salt 1 teaspoon Black pepper 2 teaspoons Yeast Flakes 2 teaspoons Paprika 1 teaspoon Ground Bay Leaves 1 teaspoon Mixed Herbs 1 teaspoon Thyme 1 tablespoon Soya Sauce 1 teaspoon Gravy Powder (or just some flour) 2 tablespoons Tomato Puree/Paste Hydrate the chunks and the lentils in some very hot water for about fifteen minutes. Add more water if necessary and bring to the boil. Add the chopped onion and the garlic. Add all the herbs and spices, the Soya sauce and the stock. Simmer for about fifteen minutes. Add the Carrots and simmer for another five minutes, then add the courgette. Simmer for another ten minutes or so until the veg are soft but not dead. Stir in the yeast flakes. Thicken the stew with the tomato puree and some gravy powder (first mixed with cold water). I forgot to add the peas and corn, but it tasted good without them.
