Hummus 1/2 lb dried chick peas / garbanzo beans 4 tablespoons light tahini 4 cloves garlic 8 tablespoons Olive Oil to taste salt to taste lemon juice as needed water Soak the chick peas overnight in boiling water. Pressure cook the chick peas for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove pea hulls which have separated. Place chick peas, garlic, olive oil and tahini in a blender with sufficient water to blend easily. Once blended add salt and lemon juice to taste.
